We just got back from our beach trip to Panama City Beach, Florida. It's on the Gulf of Mexico and Mom has gone to the beach there since she was a little kid. They have had some tar balls wash ashore over the last month, but when we were there it was absolutely beautiful! Here's a picture of some of the guys that walked up and down the beach every day (and night) to see if any tar balls or oil washed ashore.
The water and beach were beautiful while we were there!
